Hello! How are you? Have you ever wanted to write a poem but you got stuck or you didn't even know where to start? Well, I am here to help you. It's not difficult at all. You just need something or someone to lead you. Think of me as your guide.
First thing first, you may want to have a rhyming dictionary, a thesaurus and a regular dictionary handy to make sure you don't use too many make up words. Of course, you'll need some pencil and paper. Last but not the least, you'll need your creativity and imagination.
You may want to check out my book to learn how to write different types of poem to get you started. You can also check out the Activities tab for some fun activities to play around with. I also included some of my favorite poetry books in the Resources tab. I hope you find them resourceful!
Don't forget that April is the National Poetry Month! Go out there and write some poems!
