Here are some activities to do!
Hey everyone! After doing all that learning stuff I thought, "Hmm, maybe they can do some activities themself!"
So here we are, you reading this. Me reading my magazine. Enjoy!
Activity 1 - Poet Tree!
And for this activity [drum roll] we're making a Poet-tree! (see picture below).
What you need
What you need
- Brown bags (Trader Joe's are the best)
- Colored paper
- Scissors
- Sign (optional)
- Tape (one full roll)
First cut one slit into each bag. You should end up with flat pieces of brown paper with handles on them. Then pull the handles off. Now take the paper and roll them up (designs on the inside). Then stack two or three of them on top of each other on the wall then tape them there. Now you've got your base! repeat the steps from before but smaller to make branches. Then all you have to do is cut out the leaves and write your poems on to the leaves and tape them to your tree! Make that tree of yours grow grow grow!
ACTIVITY 2 - CONCRETE POEMS!
Hello everybody! Today we're going to do some nice classic concrete poems. A concrete poem is a poem in the shape of your choice. The featured one below is Roller Coaster (the name of my book).
